8 Day Retreat Sample Schedule


Days of classes are subject to change. An official schedule will be given at orientation.

Day 1
You will be picked up from Hotel La Casona hotel in Iquitos at 9 am. After putting your luggage in your cottage, you will receive your first floral bath to begin the process of infusing yourself with plant and light energy. After lunch an orientation will be held to introduce ourselves and to explain the healing journey you are about to undertake over the next 8 days, as well as to answer any questions you may have. You will have time to acclimate and relax before dinner, as well as take a guided walk to familiarize yourself with the grounds and location of the maloca. There will be an evening meditation class.

Day 2
Before breakfast you will have a one time vomitivo to help cleanse the body, physically and energetically, to prepare for ceremony. In the afternoon you will have your personal consultation with the healers and your facilitators. The rest of the afternoon will be for personal reflection and relaxation to prepare for your first ceremony. Ceremony 1.

Day 3
Daily plant remedies will begin before breakfast if prescribed by the healers. Along with normal activities, there will be time for relaxation and self reflection as well. Ceremony 2.

Day 4
After breakfast, if anyone wishes there will be a group share to discuss the previous two night’s journey. There will also be an afternoon boat ride to see and swim in an area with wild pink dolphins.

Day 5
You could use this day to relax , take a jungle walk with a guided tour, visit the town of San Jorge to look at the arts and crafts made by the locals in the village nearby, or a visit to the National Park Reserve Pacaya Samira. Ceremony 3.

Day 6
We will have our closing Ayahuasca ceremony where the maestros will give an arkana to seal in the work they have done. Ceremony 4: Arkanas.

Day 7
We will have our final group share as well as a discussion on reintegration and post diet restrictions. There will be time to take pictures with the healers and a small Shipibo market will be held should you wish to purchase the crafts of your healers, such as tapestries, bags, rattles, and jewelry.

Day 8
Breakfast will be served and then we will leave on the boat at 10am to return to Iquitos at approximately 1pm. You will be dropped off at Hotel La Casona.
