In this six-week Shamanism and Healing course at the Flower of Life Ayahuasca Healing Center in Peru, you will embark on a journey to discover your life’s purpose and explore realms beyond ordinary perception.

You will also learn to harness the healing power and esoteric knowledge of shamanism. Our Master Shamans, from the Shipibo lineage—a community with millennia of experience using ayahuasca—bring over 30 years of expertise. They will share their wisdom, teaching you their methods and the icaros songs, which contain access codes to the soul’s genetic information.

As you begin this course, understanding your life’s purpose and the universal system of sacred geometry is crucial. This system collectively shapes the human experience. You will engage in a learning journey focused on medicinal plants and their effectiveness in treating various mental and physical ailments.

The shamans will teach you the important icaros songs used in shamanic practices, which provide access to the information contained in the genetic codes of the soul. What to expect in the six weeks Shamanic Course

During the first week, we will initiate essential dietary practices involving medicinal plants that are crucial for understanding this shamanism course. Participants will also undergo physical, mental, and spiritual detoxification with the guidance and support of our experienced curanderos and maestros.

You will start with an introduction to the shamanic teachers and an overview of the course, which covers 20 key topics. This will be divided into 20 theoretical classes led by a facilitator-translator. You will participate in 14 ayahuasca ceremonies and 4 San Pedro ceremonies, and you will learn about the use and preparation of ayahuasca, purging brews, and other medicinal plants.

Each week, participants will follow a diet of different medicinal plants, closely supervised by the shamans, who will monitor the healing effects of these Amazonian plants from Peru.

In the second week, we will continue with both theoretical and practical classes tailored to the group’s needs, ensuring quality time and dedication. Tours will be organized to identify specific medicinal plants and explore their effects on the body.

In the third week, you will begin practicing icaros—ceremonial songs—while learning energy management techniques, recognizing sacred spaces, and opening portals to dimensions for cosmic connection.

The fourth week will focus on continuing the diets and deepening your understanding of medicinal plants and yourself. Shamans will guide you in performing healings for physical ailments.

Throughout this shamanism course, you will practice energy management and learn about the tobacco plant, known as mapacho, which will be used alongside other medicinal plants for inner transformation. You will engage with these theories while consistently applying your learning in daily practice.

In the fifth and sixth weeks, you will participate in guided ayahuasca ceremonies with the teachers and have the opportunity to sing your own icaros. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate in Amazonian Shamanism. Most importantly, this journey is about developing your healing powers. Icaros

Icaros are sacred songs sung by the curandero during Ayahuasca ceremonies, serving as powerful instruments for healing and accessing visions within the energetic bodies of participants. These melodies encapsulate codes and keys that forge a profound connection with the universal flow of life.

The ícaro induces a trance state, opening channels to the spiritual realm and allowing participants to engage in transformative experiences. Through their unique vibrations and energies, icaros can activate healing processes, release emotional blockages, and encourage deep introspection.

By practicing icaros, you will enhance your intuition and awaken your third eye, cultivating abilities such as clairvoyance, clairaudience, sensitivity, channeling, and a stronger connection with your higher self. These songs will also help you attune to your environment, listen to the messages of nature, and deepen your bond with your spiritual guides.

Furthermore, icaros serve as a means to honor and express gratitude towards sacred plants, such as ayahuasca and San Pedro, which play a crucial role in the healing journey. Detoxification

The process of cleansing the internal organs is fundamental in shamanic practices, playing a crucial role in maintaining the balance of intestinal flora. A well-functioning digestive system not only facilitates nutrient absorption but also supports the optimal functioning of the central nervous system. Intestinal health is intricately linked to brain health, as the gut produces essential neurotransmitters, such as serotonin, which significantly influence mood and cognition. Today, it is widely acknowledged how vital these interconnected systems are, along with their respective functions and the importance of achieving and maintaining homeostatic balance.

Research has shown that harmonizing these systems is essential for balancing all other energetic systems within the body. The Purge

The use of mapacho (tobacco) and other medicinal plants during the purge holds substantial value in shamanism. Tobacco, in particular, is utilized to cleanse the energetic space and facilitate a connection with the spiritual realm. The term “purge” encompasses the ideas of liberating, evacuating, eliminating, and unclogging. It also implies the need to extract what is excessive, toxic, heavy, negative, or unfavorable. During the Sacred Ayahuasca Ceremony

Throughout the ceremony, the Maestro-Shaman will forge deep connections with each participant, beginning with the ingestion of the medicinal plant Ayahuasca brew, followed by the cleansing of energetic centers at the auric, physical, astral, and mental levels. It is vital for students of shamanism to recognize that each individual embodies a vast universe within multiple multidimensional realms. This understanding underscores the necessity of opening psychic centers to facilitate effective healing practices.

During the Ayahuasca and San Pedro ceremonies, a range of spiritual activities will take place, including the opening of dimensional portals to connect with the mental subconscious of the participants. The apprentice shaman must cultivate the ability to manage their own energy effectively while also comprehending and respecting the energies of others. The shaman will then impart the closing melody of the ceremony, along with corresponding protection icaros, to ensure a safe and harmonious conclusion to the transformative experience.

Explanation of the Closing Ceremony

The closing ceremony is a pivotal moment in the healing process with Ayahuasca. This phase aims to create an atmosphere of safety and tranquility for the participants. The use of the Arkana of protection and the closing icaros serves to establish an energetic barrier, safeguarding attendees from any external disturbances that may disrupt their healing state.
