OUR VISION
VISION
The circumstances of our lives, and conditioned responses based on these circumstances, can lead to feelings of disconnection, depression, hopelessness and anger. The incredible wisdom found in the mother plant Ayahuasca has helped thousands of people heal from pain and trauma and rediscover the joy and magic of being alive on this planet.
Lakshmi Eco-Lodge and Spa felt called to create a space specifically for Ayahuasca. Lakshmi, named for the Hindu goddess who grants wealth and prosperity to those who work hard, with honesty, virtue and bravery, has always been dedicated to holistic healing and spiritual and personal growth. Upon realizing that we have the perfect space to also show people the incredible world of plant medicine, we created our Flower of Life Ayahuasca retreats. We’ve chosen the Flower of Life symbol to represent our mission and retreats as the Flower of Life represents creation, the process of bringing something new into existence, shown in its changing and interlacing patterns.
By working with the mother plant Ayahuasca and connecting to the incredibly healing environment that is the Amazon jungle itself, guests are encouraged to leave behind their old, limiting beliefs about themselves. Through engaging the sacred plant medicine that is Ayahuasca, guests will be taken on a challenging yet transformational journey. We take pride in offering this opportunity without pressuring guests to accept any form of dogma. We greatly appreciate the healers we work with and convey their wisdom and interpretations accordingly. But we also respect the beliefs of our guests and aim to help them absorb and integrate their experiences as seamlessly as possible. It is through this mindful approach that we intend to offer the greatest healing you can achieve with Ayahuasca.
The Ayahuasca used at this center consists only of the Ayahuasca vine and Chacruna leaf with no other plant additives. We hold an intimate space of no more than 10 guests at a time in ceremony, allowing the healers the opportunity to genuinely know and care for each person that comes to our center.
We provide jobs to local Peruvians, Shipibo and Kokama, as well as using a portion of earnings to help and support Native communities.
To live from the heart is the goal of our center. We focus on using love, light and joy to achieve liberation from suffering. We strive to be the change we want to see in the world, and share our love and passion with each person that comes through our center and retreats.
